The first annual game of the Love Wins Classic will be played between the University of South Florida and Kennesaw State University in late 2025. Coach Amir Abdur-Rahim transformed these two basketball programs by leading USF to its first regular season title and KSU to a regular season and conference title and NCAA First Round appearance.

This annual game is named after the mantra Coach lived by, "love wins," and will showcase the unifying power of sports and the deep connection he had with the universities he worked for.
